Personal growth and a sense of place are important in the business climate.  TMI provides opportunities to learn about the business, interact with co-workers, and become involved in management decisions.  The TMI benefits package is available to every qualified full-time employee.

TMI recognizes the diversity in the health care needs of individuals and families and, as a result, offers employees two health plan options.  Option one is a traditional Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan, and is structured with the lower deductible and a coinsurance arrangement.  Option two is a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA).  TMI contributes significantly to the employee portion of the premium cost for both plan options as well as to employee HSA accounts.  Optional dependent coverage is also available.


Group Long Term Disability:  TMI automatically enrolls employees with partial income protection if you become disabled from a covered accident or sickness.

Life InsuranceTMI provides a life insurance policy for eligible employees.  Additional life insurance for employees and dependents is also available for purchase.


TMI offers Paid Time Off, which is used for vacation time, holidays, sick pay, health appointments, family events, funerals, and other personal needs.  Employees will begin earning paid time off immediately once employment begins.  Paid Time Off is earned at designated rates that accelerate with longevity of service.  Employees can carry over up to 480 paid time off hours from year to year.


Profit Sharing PlanTMI contributes a portion of its annual profits to the TMI Profit Sharing Trust.  Employees become eligible for participation in this trust based on hours worked and length of service provisions set by the Plan Documents.

401K PlanTo help build retirement savings, TMI offers a 401K benefit.  Each employee may elect to make salary reductions for the purpose of directing some of their earnings into investments.  TMI matches a portion of employee contributions.


Company Wellness ProgramPhysical fitness plays a part in our ability to perform as employees and to function as individuals.  TMI encourages participation in locally sponsored fitness centers, with membership discounts available.

Employee Assistance ProgramTMI has a professional provider of counseling services for employees and families in the areas of marital or family distress, substance abuse, and financial or psychological counseling.

Over the road drivers for TMI Transport are driving some of the best equipment on the road.  TMI drivers average 7 to 10 days out and 115,000 miles per year.  Benefits include a 401k and Roth retirement plan, health insurance, paid time off, long term disability, life insurance, and more.  Fuel and mileage bonuses make TMI Transport a great place to drive for.

TMI leases 2016 Freightliner Cascadia® Evolution tractors for all our drivers.  They are equipped with Detroit™ DD15® 520 HP engines, and 12 speed automatic transmissions.

TMI's tractors come with Thermo King APU's, offering maximum driver comfort while out on the road.  In addition, the power inverter keeps all your devices plugged in and powered up.

TMI Transport offers driver's bonuses based on your annual performance in mileage and fuel economy.  Accident free and other safety metrics will also add to your potential year-end bonus.


Full-time TMI drivers that stay accident free and achieve fuel efficiency awards can

earn between $77,000 and $85,000 annually, equating to $0.66 to $0.73 per mile!
