Change takes place constantly in today’s medical labs. In addition to facilitating both storage and work activity, casework should be able to accommodate the introduction of new technology, instrumentation, and staff with minimal interruption. Through integrating fixed modular and flexible rail-mounted casework, we can help create a medical lab that will remain durable and efficient well into the future.

When resistance to moisture and acids is required, we provide stainless steel tops and integral sinks. We will build for durability with heavy-duty polyvinyl chloride (PVC) edging and five knuckle hinges. And we offer efficiencies such as foot controls for sinks, and glass insert doors for dust protection and for quickly locating instruments, chemicals, and other items.

The use of hazardous chemicals is always a concern in medical labs. Chemical resistant laminate, stainless steel and epoxy resin countertops provide excellent chemical, heat, abrasion and moisture resistance. In the lab above, white Wilsonart® ChemsurfTM countertops were installed. We also used PVC casework edging which is moisture resistant and extremely durable.
Besides being durable, the TMI casework featured above is strong enough to easily support a heavy safety cabinet across a wide kneespace. Such functionality within the lab is vital. Our casework can also be configured to accommodate freezers, medical equipment, and dishwashers below the countertop.
